Brittany Sampson
Brittany Sampson is Coast Salish from Ladysmith and Esquimalt First Nations in BC, and adopted by the Whonnock family from Alert Bay B.C.
Brittany began to work with cedar in the summer of 2014 with mentor, Maria Sampson, from Tsartlip First Nation. During Brittany’s first year weaving, she created hats for the Victoria Native Friendship Centre and has since expanded selling hats to many in community. Brittany’s cedar weaving business has grown allowing her to now take custom orders from people across turtle Island.
Brittany is passionate about cedar weaving offering beautiful hand-woven pieces from earrings to hats and more!
